Core Mission To offer emotional, spiritual, and relational support to first responders and community members during and after crises—without judgment, agenda, or hierarchy. This includes presence and care at: • Crime scenes, where individuals may be in shock, grief, or spiritual distress. The chaplain offers calm, confidential support to victims, witnesses, responders, and families—without interfering with investigations. • Accidents and trauma incidents, providing immediate emotional stabilization, informal debriefing, and spiritual comfort to those affected, whether injured or not. • Death notifications and bereavement moments, accompanying police or emergency personnel to deliver news with compassion, and remaining available for grief support. • Community-wide emergencies, such as fires, floods, or violent events, where the chaplain helps restore emotional safety, dignity, and hope. • Hospitals and clinics, offering bedside ministry, trauma counseling, and spiritual care to patients, families, and medical staff. • Schools and churches, where the chaplain provides pastoral care, trauma-informed guidance, and messages of resilience and healing. • Responder wellness, supporting police, fire, EMS, and volunteers with confidential care, burnout prevention, and spiritual encouragement. The chaplain’s mission is not to fix or direct but to walk alongside, offering a ministry of presence rooted in trust, safety, and respect. Every interaction is guided by the principles of dignity, choice, and emotional clarity, ensuring that care is inclusive, trauma-sensitive, and spiritually grounded.

AS CHAPLAIN WE ALSO HAVE A CARING PROJECT, "OMGEE AKSIE".

Make a Difference – One Act of Giving at a Time

At Counselor on the Move – Chaplaincy department, we believe that God uses every contribution from donators to bring hope, dignity, and relief to those in need. Our care outreach focuses on assisting individuals and families who receive little to no support from registered organizations.

Through God’s provision and lots of faith (Psalm 81:10b “Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it with good things”. ), we receive clothing, household items, books, and other essentials. These resources enable us to support people facing hardship with compassion and integrity. Sometimes when our non-perishable food supply run out, we sell some of the stuff to buy food and sort it into food parcels for families in need of support.

Your donation helps us to:

Provide food parcels with non-perishable items

Supply personal hygiene and cleaning products

Assist with school supplies for children in need

Distribute clothing, shoes, books, and household items to vulnerable individuals and families

We also receive occasional donations of fresh produce, such as vegetables, which are distributed directly to families in need of support.

Our Commitment to Transparency

We operate with an open-door and open-book policy.

Every donation whether financial or material is carefully recorded. All records are reviewed and reconciled monthly by qualified individuals to ensure accountability and transparency.

 How You Can Contribute

If God places it on your heart to give, we welcome: Financial donations, Clothing and shoes (new or used), Books, Household items you no longer use
